COWS on the road continue to wreak havoc in the Whitsundays.

Last night at 8.21pm paramedics were called to the Bruce Hwy following reports of a truck striking a cow in a northbound lane.

A second vehicle travelling southbound was also reported to have struck a cow causing an obstruction to traffic.

Three occupants were assessed but did not require transport to hospital.

On Wednesday cows were reported loitering on Shute Harbour Rd outside Plants Whitsunday.
