THE ARTISTIC genius of Lyn Diefenbach will be broadcast across Australia - and beyond.

The Yeppoon artist will feature in a 30-minute episode of the television program, Colour in Your Life, to be screened on TV4ME (Channel 74) in mid-January.

The television crew, including the show's presenter Graeme Stevenson, recently spent a day filming in Lyn's studio.

"It was a lot of fun, draining but fun," Lyn said of the experience.

"Graeme's whole concept is to get into the studios of artists across Australia and New Zealand, talk to them about what they do and watch them in progress.

"I did enjoy it. They were very easy to talk to and very easy to work with."

Lyn did a full pastel demonstration, creating a beautiful single rose dotted with dew.

The television program will also be shown in America, France and the United Kingdom, helping to further enhance Lyn's international profile.

She said it was an ideal way to bank some of her teaching techniques, which could be seen again and again.

The year 2015 will be a busy one for Lyn. In June, she will be one of the 30 presenters at the International Association of Pastel Societies convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She then heads to France to run a painting school for holidaymakers at the historic Le Vieux Convent before returning to America to work for four weeks with high-profile artist and instructor Tony Ryder.
