Online help for violence victims
REGIONAL women experiencing domestic violence have been urged to try a new confidential service to assess their relationships.
Professor Kesley Hegarty said the website, iDecide.org.au, would help women to reflect on their relationships, plan a "pathway" out of an unhealthy relationship and develop strategies to deal with abuse.
It follows campaigner Rosie Batty's calls for politicians in Canberra to speak to local domestic violence survivors to better understand the problem.
Women aged 16-50 years old who have experienced domestic violence or abuse in the past six months are encouraged to join the confidential, online trial.
