AQUATIC Pool & Spa Services opens its doors in Yeppoon today and owner Craig Gibbs says it's a move prompted by popular demand.

Mr Gibbs, a local resident of 12 years, has operated his award-winning pool and spa business from Emerald for the past six years, coming back to the Capricorn Coast to do pool inspections.

"I was continually being asked if we could provide more services here on the Coast,” he said.

"People were looking for an alternative service by experienced people, so we decided to take the plunge.”

The Yeppoon resident said he now offered a full range of services for both pools and spas, including testing, servicing, chemical supply, pumps and filters, salt water chlorinators, automatic pool cleaner accessories, spare parts and repairs, as well as safety inspections.

"We have spas on display in the showroom so people can actually climb in and we can ensure they are getting best use of the product, whether it be hydrotherapy, relaxing or exercise in one of the swim spas,” Mr Gibbs said.

Craig said he was well-versed in the products, having more than 16 years of experience in the spa business and 12 years servicing pools.

"We keep up to date with ongoing training for all staff to keep up with industry changes and advances, which is vital for the health of your water quality and to ensure you are getting the best value from your products,” he said.

"We are open six days a week and are happy to arrange on-site safety inspections and servicing.

"We also have member discounts that include hints and tips and insider news available for your convenience.”

Aquatic Pool & Spa Services has a modern, vibrant shop at 1/38 James St, Yeppoon, and services all areas on the Capricorn Coast.
