Prizes galore at church sale day

IT'S CENT sale time again for St Paul's Anglican Church in Proserpine.

The social and sales event will be held at the Proserpine RSL this Saturday, March 7.

The day's festivities will see lots of prizes sold for cheap, all donated by Proserpine residents and businesses to support the good work of the church.

There will also be a raffle and lucky door prize happening on the day, so make sure to be on time to get your tickets.

The Proserpine branch of the Queensland Girl Guides and some very helpful grandchildren of churchgoers will be assisting on the day, handing out prizes to the lucky winners.

It's not just about sales, however.

Organisers are putting on plenty of nibbles for the nervous bidders.

Some lovely scones with jam and cream will help settle the nerves, with cold drinks also available.

The event aims to raise money to help the church continue its good work, not only with parishioners but within the wider Proserpine community.

The doors will open at 12.30pm, giving participants plenty of time to socialise before a 1.30pm start.
