Two young girls airlifted after scalding on Fraser Island

 TWO young sisters have been flown to hospital after suffering scalding burns after boiling water fell on them.

The two were staying at Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island when on Sunday evening, they were burned while preparing noodles in their unit.

Both were airlifting to Nambour hospital with minor burns. 

They are expected to be released from care today to continue their holiday.
