HAVE you ever wondered what one of the best jobs in the world looks like? If so, James Cook University has given a brief glimpse into what it could be.

A group from the Turtle Health Research Team recently ventured off the coast of Bowen to get an update on turtle populations after Cyclone Debbie.

About eight people bundled into several boats to track, chase, catch and release turtles just off the coast.

JCU Turtle Health Research is a group of academics, students and volunteers at the Townsville-based university who are passionate about the health and well-being of turtles in the tropics.
